Hi all, as many of you know, our good club member and friend, Michael Duggan, has been ill for some time. We raised some money last year in a raffle for the family, which was very helpful, but unfortunately Michael has recently been moved to a long-term care facility. His insurance has run out and the costs are mounting.
We have created a Go Fund Me page, as a simple way for those interested to donate to help the family meet those costs. For those not familiar, Go Fund Me is a popular site to raise money for causes and people in need. You merely click on the link below (after my name) and you will be sent to the fundraising page for Michael. At the website, there is a yellow button for donations- click on that and donate whatever you are comfortable making. And afterwards, feel free to share the fundraiser with others through the share button- via email, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. Sharing dramatically increases the number of people who can potentially contribute. (Note Go Fund Me will ask you to provide a “tip” to cover their costs, and they typically include a suggested 15% tip- this is totally optional.)
Hopefully the Vintage community will be strong in supporting Michael and his family.
