Our friend and teammate Bob Presant passed away May 18th due to inoperable bladder cancer. Bob was a terrific teammate, friend, and respected by all who knew him. He was 75. Bob was a longtime resident of Oakdale, CA, where he last worked as a ferrier, shoeing horses for the ranchers there. His wife, Tish, passed earlier in 2018. Bob was elected into the Stanislaus Senior Softball Hall of Fame, and a member of numerous senior softball teams:
The Farm – 2002-2007; won 2002 USSSA 55+ major State & World Championships; 2004 SSUSA 55+ major World Championship & Triple Crown.
Prime Time – 2009-2014; won SSUSA Palm Springs tournament & numerous Nor-Cal NCSSA tournaments.
Calif. Wrecking Crew – 2015-2017; won SSUSA 70+ major Western National Championships 2015, 2016, 2017; won East-West National Championship game 2015, 2016, 2017; won NCSSA Hall of Fame tournament 2015, 2016, 2017.
The Who – 2018-2019 – won gold medal at 2018 Huntsman Senior Games
We will miss Bob, one of the nicest guys in senior softball.
