Sadly, Kevin Pringle passed away after a short illness on December 6th. He was 73.
Kevin lived in Montara, CA, near the ocean that he loved. He fished and surfed as often as time and health allowed. His other passions were basketball and softball. In his long career with Senior Softball, Kevin played for the Redwood City Reds, the Bay Supporters, the War Eagles, the NorCal Reds, and the Animals. Kevin was also a member of the Redwood City Seńors Softball Club. He was a versatile player who could play any position and always enjoyed a cold Tecate or Modelo after the day’s games were over.
For more than 35 years Kevin operated popular Christmas tree lots and pumpkin patches around the Bay Area. A unique character, he will be remembered for his fun-loving attitude, a million crazy stories about trailers and poker games, and as a valued teammate. His friends and family will tell you that his kind doesn’t come around often. Kevin will be missed.
