The Sierra Valley Senior Softball League, a 60 years and older league that plays double headers Thursday mornings is looking for new teams for the 2017 season. The summer season starts the first Thursday in April. The league currently has 14 teams and can accommodate teams with skill levels from Double A up to Major Plus.
It is a travelling league with games currently being played in Solano, Yolo, Sacramento, Placer, and El Dorado counties. If you can put together a team and have a playing field and would like more information, please call Herb Epple at (916) 941-9243 or e-mail him at epple72@sbcglobal.net.
