Unfortunately, we have lost another member of our Club. Hal Feinberg, who was a long time member of both NCSSA and RCSSC, passed away on December 21, 2020 from complications of Parkinson’s disease.
Hal was born in Hawaii and received his education at San Francisco State University. He went on to become a middle school P.E. teacher and eventually a middle school counselor. During that time, Hal coached a number of school sports. Hal was an avid follower of our Bay Area sports teams, and was especially fond of following sports at Stanford University.
As a “softballer”, Hal managed several NCSSA tournament teams, served as an area representative to the NCSSA Board of Directors, was the Board Treasurer for a number of years and was elected to the NCSSA Hall of Fame in 2016.
Private family services have been held and he was laid to rest on Thursday December 24th.
