The Passing of Bob Cushman

Bob Cushman passed away after a short illness on Sunday, February 10, at the age of 80. Bob was one of the most popular players in the Redwood City Club. He was known for his sense of humor, his friendliness, his compassion, his generosity, and most of all, his willingness to volunteer. Bob was a member of many tournament teams: primarily the Redwood City Royals and the Redwood City Gold Rush. Bob loved softball more than any other player we know, and his death is a great loss to his family, his friends, and the Club.

There will be a celebration of life for him on Monday, March 4, at 1:00pm, at the Lagoon Room in the Foster City Recreation Center, 650 Shell Boulevard, Foster City, CA 94404. All are welcome to attend.

Dennis Logie, President
Redwood City Señors Softball Club
